Mr. Ryan來自英國，畢業(yè)于英國林肯大學歷史系,，擁有劍橋認證的CELTA英語教師資格證,。他善于鉆研探究，有著豐富的知識儲備，對于萬事萬物,，不僅探其然,，更喜歡探其所以然。正是這份好奇,，讓他從孩童起對讀書就有著極大的熱情,。對于知識的渴求同樣指引著他走上了教師的道路，在中國的7年教學經(jīng)歷,，使得Ryan對學生學的過程有了更深刻和廣泛的認知,。
課堂上，Ryan喜歡同學生溝通交流,，了解學生的認知障礙點,，了解學生對所學話題的看法，從而幫助學生提高閱讀能力,。他非常關(guān)注和學生一對一的互動,，肢體語言豐富，風趣幽默,，教學嚴謹?shù)耐瑫r,，能夠為學生創(chuàng)設輕松、浸入式的語言環(huán)境,。此外,，Ryan非常關(guān)注課堂上少言寡語的學生，積極為其創(chuàng)設表達的機會,，并能夠給與適時鼓勵,，不斷增強學生表達的自信心。
科學公開課：The Sound（聲音）
Mr. Ryan每天認真鉆研教學,，在詞匯教學方面,，形成了一套獨特的詞匯教學法、帶著學生玩轉(zhuǎn)詞匯,。例如利用圖片匹配,，wordsearch、設計吊小人的游戲（the hang man）來激活學生頭腦中的已知詞匯,。此外,，Ryan的簡筆畫功夫也相當了得，看圖猜詞的游戲也是學生們的最愛,。在Ryan的課堂上,，學生可以真正體會到Learning is such fun! 此外，每周一次的vocabulary test, 也讓同學們及時做到溫故而知新,。
科學課上,，Ryan帶領(lǐng)大家暢游在知識的海洋里，主題不僅涵蓋聲,、光,、電等物理知識，也有動物防御,、植物防御,、海洋生物等生物學知識、還包含太陽系,、行星,、火星等天文學知識?？茖W類文本閱讀極大的擴充了學生的知識儲備,，讓學生擁有了強大的知識背景，為今后的專業(yè)學習做好更充分的準備,?？茖W課上，Ryan總會找到與主題知識相關(guān)的英文原版小視頻,，讓科學更好玩兒,，讓大家好好玩兒科學。

作為英語組的一員,，Ryan積極為workshop獻言獻策,，聚焦學生寫作能力的提升，推動全組英語教師的共同發(fā)展,，還會定期舉行英語角活動,，提高學生英語學習的興趣，深層次鍛煉學生的口語能力及實際交流應用能力,。

In my opinion, this class is very helpful. It can not only help to improve our knowledge and English grammar, but also improve our speaking. Because most of our foreign teachers are British, most of the pronunciation of the students is standard. Usually we have five classes a week, and we have different type of subject to learn each day, which is writing, reading, and science. Most of the time, we have two writing, two reading, and one science class a week. Our reading class is separated into two type of class too; one is for reading novels, and one is for normal literature class.
Talking about our teachers, all of them are brilliant! My teacher is Ryan who is humorous and very patient to his student. Usually when we have something that we don’t understand, he will come and answer our question. If we don’t understand his word, his will use more easy word to replace his old answer. So I think I learned a lot in this class, and I improve myself every day.
在我看來,，外教課很有幫助。不僅可以幫助我們提高知識和英語語法,，而且還可以提高我們的口語,。因為我們的外教大部分是英國人，所以多數(shù)學生英語發(fā)音比較標準,。通常我們一周有五節(jié)外教課,，我們每天有不同類型的學科要學習：寫作、閱讀和科學,。大多數(shù)時候,，我們一周有兩次寫作，兩次閱讀,，一次科學課,。我們的閱讀課也會分成兩類：一類是閱讀小說,，一類是普通文學。說起我們的老師,，他們都是才華橫溢的,！我的老師是Ryan，他很幽默,，對學生很有耐心,。通常當我們有什么不明白的時候，他會過來回答我們的問題,。如果我們不理解的話,，他會用更簡單的詞來進行解釋。所以我覺得我在這節(jié)課上學到了很多,，每天都有新的提升,。

Time flies. Mr. Ryan has been teaching me for almost a year before I know it. During this year, I learned a lot of things about grammar, writing, science, reading and so on, which has broadened my horizons and benefited me a lot. The class instruction is very interesting and attractive, and each topic has a detailed explanation. Mr. Ryan is very accurate in timing and never delays class.
時間過得真快，不覺間Ryan已經(jīng)教我快一年了,。這一年里,，我學到了很多語法、寫作,、科學,、閱讀等方面的知識。外教課開闊了我的眼界,，讓我受益匪淺,。Ryan的課堂教學非常有趣，引人入勝,。每個話題都講解的非常詳細,，還非常注重時間管理，各環(huán)節(jié)時間都安排的非常合理,。

From my point of view, our foreign teacher Mr. Ryan is a really good teacher. For general knowledge we have reading class, writing class and science class, and I think that Mr. Ryan’s classes are very interesting and educational. For example, in my favorite class; science, Mr. Ryan shows us pictures about what we are learning, and we are told to identify the correct picture. Some of the pictures are funny we all laugh when it is shown and some of them are honestly scary, we enjoy seeing them and learning from it. I can learn a lot of things in Writing, Mr. Ryan has been teaching us how to write sentence that can express our feelings correctly, it has been quite useful when it comes to writing an article.
在我看來,，我們的外教Ryan是一個非常好的老師。閱讀,、寫作和科學課都真的很有趣,，也很有教育意義。所有課程中我最喜歡的是科學課,。詞匯教學部分,，Ryan利用圖片教學法讓我們匹配正確圖片，有些圖片非常有趣,，有些還有點嚇人,，我們都很喜歡通過圖片學習新詞匯。寫作課上我也學到了很多,，老師一直在教我們?nèi)绾斡谜_的方式來寫句子表達我們的感受,，這對我們寫文章非常有用,。
