Mr. Ryan來自英國,，畢業(yè)于英國林肯大學(xué)歷史系,，擁有劍橋認(rèn)證的CELTA英語教師資格證,。他善于鉆研探究,，有著豐富的知識(shí)儲(chǔ)備,，對(duì)于萬事萬物，不僅探其然,，更喜歡探其所以然,。正是這份好奇，讓他從孩童起對(duì)讀書就有著極大的熱情,。對(duì)于知識(shí)的渴求同樣指引著他走上了教師的道路,，在中國的7年教學(xué)經(jīng)歷，使得Ryan對(duì)學(xué)生學(xué)的過程有了更深刻和廣泛的認(rèn)知,。
課堂上,，Ryan喜歡同學(xué)生溝通交流，了解學(xué)生的認(rèn)知障礙點(diǎn),，了解學(xué)生對(duì)所學(xué)話題的看法,，從而幫助學(xué)生提高閱讀能力。他非常關(guān)注和學(xué)生一對(duì)一的互動(dòng),，肢體語言豐富,，風(fēng)趣幽默，教學(xué)嚴(yán)謹(jǐn)?shù)耐瑫r(shí),，能夠?yàn)閷W(xué)生創(chuàng)設(shè)輕松,、浸入式的語言環(huán)境。此外,，Ryan非常關(guān)注課堂上少言寡語的學(xué)生,，積極為其創(chuàng)設(shè)表達(dá)的機(jī)會(huì)，并能夠給與適時(shí)鼓勵(lì),，不斷增強(qiáng)學(xué)生表達(dá)的自信心,。
科學(xué)公開課：The Sound（聲音）
Mr. Ryan每天認(rèn)真鉆研教學(xué)，在詞匯教學(xué)方面,，形成了一套獨(dú)特的詞匯教學(xué)法,、帶著學(xué)生玩轉(zhuǎn)詞匯,。例如利用圖片匹配，wordsearch,、設(shè)計(jì)吊小人的游戲（the hang man）來激活學(xué)生頭腦中的已知詞匯,。此外，Ryan的簡(jiǎn)筆畫功夫也相當(dāng)了得,，看圖猜詞的游戲也是學(xué)生們的最愛,。在Ryan的課堂上，學(xué)生可以真正體會(huì)到Learning is such fun! 此外,，每周一次的vocabulary test, 也讓同學(xué)們及時(shí)做到溫故而知新,。
科學(xué)課上，Ryan帶領(lǐng)大家暢游在知識(shí)的海洋里,，主題不僅涵蓋聲,、光、電等物理知識(shí),，也有動(dòng)物防御,、植物防御、海洋生物等生物學(xué)知識(shí),、還包含太陽系,、行星、火星等天文學(xué)知識(shí),?？茖W(xué)類文本閱讀極大的擴(kuò)充了學(xué)生的知識(shí)儲(chǔ)備，讓學(xué)生擁有了強(qiáng)大的知識(shí)背景,，為今后的專業(yè)學(xué)習(xí)做好更充分的準(zhǔn)備,。科學(xué)課上,，Ryan總會(huì)找到與主題知識(shí)相關(guān)的英文原版小視頻,，讓科學(xué)更好玩兒，讓大家好好玩兒科學(xué),。

作為英語組的一員,，Ryan積極為workshop獻(xiàn)言獻(xiàn)策，聚焦學(xué)生寫作能力的提升,，推動(dòng)全組英語教師的共同發(fā)展,，還會(huì)定期舉行英語角活動(dòng)，提高學(xué)生英語學(xué)習(xí)的興趣,，深層次鍛煉學(xué)生的口語能力及實(shí)際交流應(yīng)用能力,。

In my opinion, this class is very helpful. It can not only help to improve our knowledge and English grammar, but also improve our speaking. Because most of our foreign teachers are British, most of the pronunciation of the students is standard. Usually we have five classes a week, and we have different type of subject to learn each day, which is writing, reading, and science. Most of the time, we have two writing, two reading, and one science class a week. Our reading class is separated into two type of class too; one is for reading novels, and one is for normal literature class.
Talking about our teachers, all of them are brilliant! My teacher is Ryan who is humorous and very patient to his student. Usually when we have something that we don’t understand, he will come and answer our question. If we don’t understand his word, his will use more easy word to replace his old answer. So I think I learned a lot in this class, and I improve myself every day.
在我看來，外教課很有幫助,。不僅可以幫助我們提高知識(shí)和英語語法,，而且還可以提高我們的口語。因?yàn)槲覀兊耐饨檀蟛糠质怯?，所以多?shù)學(xué)生英語發(fā)音比較標(biāo)準(zhǔn),。通常我們一周有五節(jié)外教課，我們每天有不同類型的學(xué)科要學(xué)習(xí)：寫作,、閱讀和科學(xué),。大多數(shù)時(shí)候，我們一周有兩次寫作,，兩次閱讀,，一次科學(xué)課。我們的閱讀課也會(huì)分成兩類：一類是閱讀小說,，一類是普通文學(xué),。說起我們的老師，他們都是才華橫溢的,！我的老師是Ryan,，他很幽默，對(duì)學(xué)生很有耐心,。通常當(dāng)我們有什么不明白的時(shí)候,，他會(huì)過來回答我們的問題。如果我們不理解的話,，他會(huì)用更簡(jiǎn)單的詞來進(jìn)行解釋,。所以我覺得我在這節(jié)課上學(xué)到了很多，每天都有新的提升,。

Time flies. Mr. Ryan has been teaching me for almost a year before I know it. During this year, I learned a lot of things about grammar, writing, science, reading and so on, which has broadened my horizons and benefited me a lot. The class instruction is very interesting and attractive, and each topic has a detailed explanation. Mr. Ryan is very accurate in timing and never delays class.
時(shí)間過得真快,，不覺間Ryan已經(jīng)教我快一年了。這一年里,，我學(xué)到了很多語法,、寫作、科學(xué),、閱讀等方面的知識(shí),。外教課開闊了我的眼界，讓我受益匪淺,。Ryan的課堂教學(xué)非常有趣,，引人入勝。每個(gè)話題都講解的非常詳細(xì),，還非常注重時(shí)間管理,，各環(huán)節(jié)時(shí)間都安排的非常合理。

From my point of view, our foreign teacher Mr. Ryan is a really good teacher. For general knowledge we have reading class, writing class and science class, and I think that Mr. Ryan’s classes are very interesting and educational. For example, in my favorite class; science, Mr. Ryan shows us pictures about what we are learning, and we are told to identify the correct picture. Some of the pictures are funny we all laugh when it is shown and some of them are honestly scary, we enjoy seeing them and learning from it. I can learn a lot of things in Writing, Mr. Ryan has been teaching us how to write sentence that can express our feelings correctly, it has been quite useful when it comes to writing an article.
在我看來,，我們的外教Ryan是一個(gè)非常好的老師,。閱讀,、寫作和科學(xué)課都真的很有趣，也很有教育意義,。所有課程中我最喜歡的是科學(xué)課,。詞匯教學(xué)部分，Ryan利用圖片教學(xué)法讓我們匹配正確圖片,，有些圖片非常有趣,，有些還有點(diǎn)嚇人，我們都很喜歡通過圖片學(xué)習(xí)新詞匯,。寫作課上我也學(xué)到了很多,，老師一直在教我們?nèi)绾斡谜_的方式來寫句子表達(dá)我們的感受，這對(duì)我們寫文章非常有用,。
