I wonder why I became short-sighted

As you can see, I am a girl with glasses. Last year, I found I couldn’tsee the words clearly on the blackboard. After the doctor checked my eyes, she told me that I 've been short-sighted and I need to have a pair of glasses. But you know, I really don’t like glasses. I wonder why I became short-sighted.
The doctor told me there are three reasons why people became short-sighted. One is the family reason. When the parents have glasses, their child may become short-sighted. The second reason is because some kids like to play computers for too long time. Their eyes are too tired. And the third reason is because of the light. In some schools or houses, the light is not bright enough. When students read books in the weak light, they are easy to become short-sighted.
Then I know why I became short-sighted. My grandma and my father have thick glasses. That’s the main reason for my eyes. And also I should not play computer games for a long time or read books in the weak light.
When I talked with the doctor, I know that we shouldprotect our eyes. Eyes are like the windows of our mind. Let’s stop playing computer games. And let’s use brighter lamps. How I wish I can make my eyes brighter !
