Dinosaurs lived for more than 160 million years. About 65 million years ago, they died out. Now, we can not see the real dinosaurs. We just can see them from pictures and TV.
There were many kinds of dinosaurs. Some dinosaurs ate only plants; we call them plant-eating dinosaurs. Others ate other animals; they were meat-eating dinosaurs. Some dinosaurs were bigger than an elephant. Others were smaller than a hen. Some dinosaur walked on two legs, some walked on four.
Why did the dinosaurs die out? Different people have different idea. Some say an asteroid hit the Earth and made it two cold for the dinosaurs to live. Others believe there were two huge explosions from volcanoes. It changed the climate and made it too hard for the dinosaurs to live.
Maybe many years later, some animals will die out. So I think, we should protect the endangered animals.
