【小學(xué)·高端英語(yǔ)項(xiàng)目】文智隨行 德馨滿(mǎn)園——我校一年級(jí)外教課堂風(fēng)采

風(fēng)拂面,,暖陽(yáng)吻身。轉(zhuǎn)眼間,,新學(xué)期已開(kāi)學(xué)一月有余。在這萬(wàn)物復(fù)蘇的季節(jié),迎來(lái)了西方又一個(gè)重要的節(jié)日——復(fù)活節(jié)。我們不崇洋媚外,,但我們要知己知彼。小學(xué)一年級(jí)高端英語(yǔ)的課堂上,,外教們以“尋蛋”的活動(dòng),,幫助孩子們體驗(yàn)西方復(fù)活節(jié)的傳統(tǒng)。

   

活動(dòng)預(yù)備期,外教們做了精心地準(zhǔn)備,。他們分工明確,誰(shuí)來(lái)扮復(fù)活節(jié)的送蛋小兔子,,誰(shuí)來(lái)買(mǎi)巧克力蛋,,在什么地方“藏蛋”,,什么時(shí)候“藏蛋”,,都安排得井然有序,。

   

外教Mel和Jake扮演送蛋小兔子。他們認(rèn)真裝扮,,寧可“自毀形象”,Mel在臉上畫(huà)胡須,,畫(huà)紅鼻頭,Jake一蹦一跳地帶著孩子們尋蛋,,完全沒(méi)有“偶像包袱”,。他們的這份熱忱與認(rèn)真,帶給孩子們的是充實(shí)快樂(lè)的時(shí)光。   

“小兔子的”引領(lǐng)下,孩子們手里提著自己制作的小籃子,,歡快又興奮地來(lái)到了“藏蛋花園”,遍尋四處,,不放過(guò)任何一個(gè)角落,畢竟巧克力蛋的誘惑實(shí)在無(wú)法抵擋,。在尋蛋過(guò)程中,,我們也驚喜的發(fā)現(xiàn)了孩子們平時(shí)鮮為我們所知的美好品德,。比如,有的孩子擅長(zhǎng)搜尋發(fā)現(xiàn),,找到很多巧克力蛋,。而有幾個(gè)籃筐滿(mǎn)載的孩子,面對(duì)香甜可口,、極具誘惑的巧克力蛋,,主動(dòng)把自己的分給了其他籃子里寥若晨星的同學(xué)。還有的孩子,,盡管自己的籃子里的巧克力蛋屈指可數(shù),,在聽(tīng)到其他同學(xué)抱怨自己的蛋少,或?yàn)榇舜罂薜臅r(shí)候,,主動(dòng)將自己為數(shù)不多的幾顆分了出去,。細(xì)心的Shai也注意到了這些暖心的微小瞬間,對(duì)此贊賞有加,,并用巧克力蛋作為這些慷慨的孩子們的獎(jiǎng)品,,以此鼓勵(lì)贊許他們這樣美好的品德。育人先育德,,這也是我們?nèi)谌胝n堂里的品德教育,,因?yàn)榻逃裏o(wú)時(shí)不在。這種樂(lè)于分享,,謙讓他人的品德,,值得我們至真的贊美。

外教的課堂歡樂(lè)充實(shí),,以潤(rùn)物無(wú)聲的方式讓孩子們?cè)谥R(shí)的海洋里任意遨游,,在美德的花園里沁潤(rùn)心脾,相信在不久的將來(lái),,他們都會(huì)成長(zhǎng)為德才兼?zhèn)涞膰?guó)之棟梁,。

While we enjoy the spring breeze caressing our faces and warm sunlight kissing our skin, we almost forget the time passing. But it’s been over one month since the new semester started. This life-reviving season was welcoming another important tradition--Easter. We are not foreign-culture followers, but we need to know something about everything in this world besides our own traditions and customs. The foreign teachers from the High-end English Program of primary school helped our kids to get to know Easter traditions with an “Easter Egg Hunt”.


They did a thorough preparation with a detailed labor division. “Who is going to buy chocolate eggs for kids?” “Who get to play the Easter Bunny giving out those eggs?”  “Where and when do we hide them?” All those were put in order.


Mel and Jake disguised in a rabbit costume. Mel painted whiskers on face and colored nose red. Jake led the kids to the garden where the chocolate eggs were hidden with jumping and hopping. They did it without any mind burden that their dress-up would ruin their images. Their passion and conscientiousness enliven children’s school time.


With the ushering of the Easter Bunny and the self-made baskets in hands, our kids went on a joyful hunt everywhere across the garden. After all, none of them could resist the temptation of chocolate eggs. Amid that egg hunt, we surprisingly found some students’ great virtues that we hardly noticed. For instance, some of them are really good at searching. Their baskets were full to the brim with the eggs they found. But several of them shared some eggs to those whose baskets were almost empty even they themselves also craved the sweet chocolates. One spontaneously gave few chocolate eggs to those kids at their complaining or crying over their scarceness even though he only got a few. All those warm moments ran into one of the foreign teachers, Miss Shai’s eyes. She was really proud and appreciated that. She gave those kids chocolate eggs as a reward to encourage the virtue. Morals come first. That’s a principal and a part of our education because nurture is embedded in everyday life. That spirit of sharing and the courtesy are worthy of our highest praise.


The joyful and enlightened High-end English Program enables our kids to enjoy their journey in the sea of knowledge and immerses them in a garden full of the fragrance of virtues. There is no doubt that they will grow into the pillar of our society in the foreseeable future.
