·【外語節(jié)系列報道】我校舉行高中戲劇展演及閉幕式

4月10日下午，我校第11屆外語節(jié)高中戲劇展演及閉幕式在國瑞廳正式拉開帷幕,。常務(wù)副校長王彤博士出席本次活動并致祝賀詞,。校長助理,、教務(wù)處主任王靜，德育處副主任劉長虹出席本次活動,。高一,、高二全體師生一起觀看了本次外語節(jié)戲劇展演的精彩節(jié)目。
外語節(jié)體現(xiàn)了我校的辦學(xué)特色,，是我校校園文化建設(shè)的一大品牌活動,，已經(jīng)連續(xù)11年舉辦。外語節(jié)中的戲劇表演融合了東,、西方文化的不同要素,，展示了外語文化的獨特魅力，用戲劇形式表演,，使學(xué)生們的外語能力與舞臺演技充分結(jié)合,，體現(xiàn)了學(xué)生的創(chuàng)造力。
高一（5）班的節(jié)目《Five Dancing Princesses》,，用精彩表演詮釋了這個世界上,，正義戰(zhàn)勝邪惡是永恒不變的真理，并且五個男孩反串的公主各具特色,，令人印象深刻；高一（6）班的節(jié)目《Everyone’s Business》充滿了現(xiàn)代的氣息,，真實反映了現(xiàn)實生活中的點滴,，塑造出鮮明生動的人物形象，讓我們開懷大笑的同時,，也呼吁大家愛護自己的家園,；高一（3）班傾情演繹的《Cinderella》，顛覆經(jīng)典,，Cinderella由一個男孩反串,，劇中漂亮的水晶鞋轉(zhuǎn)換成一只充滿腳臭的運動鞋，劇中的王子與灰姑娘也趕上潮流跳起了騎馬舞，這些都讓現(xiàn)場觀眾驚奇之余歡笑聲不斷,；高二（1）班的閆一銘同學(xué)演繹了一首英文歌曲,，他磁性的嗓音、深情地演唱也帶給觀眾音樂的韻味美感,。此次展演中演員們用自己深入的角色表達出劇本所詮釋的情感,；精致的服裝與舞臺效果的完美結(jié)合；貫穿節(jié)目始終的主角和驚鴻一瞥的小小配角,，都盡情的釋放著自己形象,，讓節(jié)目活潑、動人,，富有哲理,，使觀眾為之感動與深思。
最終,，高一（3）班的《Cinderella》獲得本屆外語節(jié)戲劇展演一等獎,；高一（5）班畢晨昕獲最佳女主角；高一（6）班王子傲獲最佳男主角,；高一（3）班楊濡溪獲最佳女配角,；高一（6）班韓雪飛獲最佳男配角。至此,，本次外語節(jié)戲劇展演活動,，圓滿落下了帷幕。
我校外語節(jié)走過了11年,，11年的蛻變成長,，成就了今天第11屆外語節(jié)戲劇展演的精彩，傳承著我校的校園文化,。同時,，本次戲劇展演活動，對提升學(xué)生的口語,、聽力,、組織協(xié)調(diào)力等起到了積極的作用。

Dear teachers and students, ladies and gentlemen,
Good afternoon!
Today we gather here to have a big celebration of the Foreign Language Festival. To be more exact, we will have the English Play Show. I am so proud that three classes of senior one will stage three English plays. They are Cinderella by Class 3, Five Dancing Princesses by Class 5, and Everyone′s Business by Class 6, All the players, where are you? Please stand up. Let’s give them a big hand. We will also have a singer this afternoon. Yan Yiming from Class 1 senior 2. Let’s also applaud his efforts.
Here, let’s not forget the teachers who guide, coach, support, and help. All the teachers, thank you.
A show will never be a success without the stage supporting staff. This afternoon, all the stage management work is done by our students. The MCs are Liang Zilong and Yu Jia. Sound management, Huang Yuewei. Mike coordination, Yao Shuo. Stage management, the theatre club of the student union. Certificate preparation, Ding Wanying. Thank you all. I am proud of you.
You may wonder, why English play show? Is it a waste of time? I will never have a chance to perform in an English play in my life. Why bother sitting here? I had the same idea ten years ago. However, I completely changed my mind by my Phd supervisor Charles in the United Kingdom. One day I was so exhausted that my mind didn’t function. He told me that weekend he would invite me to have a good break. What was the good break, can you guess? He took me to a Shakespeare play Much Ado about Nothing ,。The whole audience was deeply absorbed in the play and I did have a quiet and good break. From that experience, I know that Shakespeare is part of British people’s life and enjoying good plays is indeed enjoying culture and life.
