The 9thForeign Language Festival was just satisfactorily concluded on April 16, 2012. The students of BFLS have had a fantastic time during the one-month festival.
The theme of the 9thForeign Language Festival was: Exhibit Chinese Culture & Embrace the world. The English teachers and students worked together to hold a great deal of activities. The most popular activities that I listed systematically were: The Foreign Language Playlet Competition and the Foreign Language Reporting Ceremony.
Talking about those playlets, I can only say that, all the students who were on the stage did performed really well. Perhaps some of them would think that they were so embarrassing on the stage or whatever, but I‘ve got the small element that is: we were attracted by them, and we were HAPPY! Others may think it dose not make any sense, but YES! We did enjoyed it, and they performed really well.
For the reporting ceremony, in words, it was brilliant!! Especially the girl in the 8thgrade who sang “Rolling in the deep”, she did rock the site!!! I would suggest that she should go to the “American Idol” to try her luck! And the cool guy from class 1, grade 7 sang pretty well, too.
The 9thforeign language festival was held real sucdessfully. Those people who didn't get the chance to be on the stage, now go and wash your face, prepare for the 10thForeign Language Festival: like what the Foreign Language Stars said at the closing ceremony:
This year they are the Foreign Language Star; next year the Foreign Language Star will be you!!
