我校初中國(guó)際項(xiàng)目演講決賽TED Talks Competition成功舉行

12月19日下午,，我校初中國(guó)際項(xiàng)目演講決賽TED Talks Competition在國(guó)瑞廳隆重舉行。本次比賽旨在提高我校學(xué)生英語(yǔ)演講能力,，營(yíng)造濃厚英語(yǔ)學(xué)習(xí)氛圍,激勵(lì)更多的學(xué)生愛(ài)英語(yǔ)愛(ài)表達(dá),。初中國(guó)際項(xiàng)目300余名學(xué)生在外教課上進(jìn)行了初步篩選，最終有9名同學(xué)代表本年級(jí)進(jìn)入了本次決賽,。
比賽環(huán)節(jié)包括自命題演講和即興問(wèn)答,。選手們的演講主題新穎、并且頗具思想深度，從關(guān)愛(ài)家園保護(hù)動(dòng)物,、健康話題,、熱愛(ài)運(yùn)動(dòng)到運(yùn)氣與夢(mèng)想、異國(guó)風(fēng)情,。參賽選手在六名外籍教師的細(xì)心指導(dǎo)下,，以飽滿的自信、多樣的演講風(fēng)格,、流暢的語(yǔ)言給所有初中國(guó)際項(xiàng)目的學(xué)生們帶來(lái)了一場(chǎng)精神的洗禮,，臺(tái)下的同學(xué)也紛紛思考起自己的夢(mèng)想和責(zé)任。
各位優(yōu)秀的參賽者不僅在臺(tái)上展現(xiàn)了良好的精神風(fēng)貌,，較高的演講水平,，更體現(xiàn)出他們身上積極向上，努力拼搏的進(jìn)取精神,。最激動(dòng)人心的環(huán)節(jié)要數(shù)即興問(wèn)答環(huán)節(jié)：每位選手在完成演講后,，由外教就演講話題即興提問(wèn)，選手們睿智的回答,，臺(tái)下的同學(xué)們頻頻發(fā)出熱烈的掌聲和歡呼聲,。
本次比賽邀請(qǐng)了國(guó)際項(xiàng)目六位外籍教師Mr. Page、Mr. Ricky,、Mrs. Emily ,、Mrs. Tamara、Mr. Robert,、Mr. Zuker,、Miss Ellen 擔(dān)任評(píng)委。選手們慷慨激昂的演講和緊張的提問(wèn)環(huán)節(jié)使得現(xiàn)場(chǎng)的氣氛十分熱烈,。評(píng)委們依據(jù)選手的語(yǔ)言基本功,、演講激情和臺(tái)風(fēng)、演講內(nèi)容及回答問(wèn)題等具體情況給予綜合評(píng)價(jià),。
經(jīng)過(guò)激烈的角逐,，最終姜思琪榮獲一等獎(jiǎng)；王薇雅,、魯怡菲榮獲二等獎(jiǎng),；曹在熙、寇子實(shí),、張昊淳獲三等獎(jiǎng),；徐藝瑞獲最佳ppt獎(jiǎng)；張奧博,、高新博獲最佳表現(xiàn)獎(jiǎng),。
演講結(jié)束后，外教Mrs.Tamara上臺(tái)對(duì)選手們的表現(xiàn)進(jìn)行總結(jié)發(fā)言。Mrs. Tamara讓學(xué)生把掌聲送給精彩演講的同學(xué),、送給辛苦指導(dǎo)的老師、送給今天的TED talks演講展示舞臺(tái),。她特別重點(diǎn)的點(diǎn)評(píng)了學(xué)生話題的選擇,，使學(xué)生更明確了自己的責(zé)任意識(shí)、愛(ài)運(yùn)動(dòng),、愛(ài)地球,、有夢(mèng)想、有擔(dān)當(dāng),。她還鼓勵(lì)更多的學(xué)生參與到這樣的展示活動(dòng)中來(lái),，同時(shí)她也表示會(huì)在接下來(lái)的教學(xué)中，繼續(xù)為學(xué)生創(chuàng)造更多的英語(yǔ)演講展示機(jī)會(huì),，進(jìn)一步提高同學(xué)們的演講展示能力,，期待同學(xué)們?cè)诮窈髸?huì)有更精彩的表現(xiàn)。
比賽現(xiàn)場(chǎng),，初中國(guó)際項(xiàng)目負(fù)責(zé)人張麗君主任為本學(xué)期在網(wǎng)上閱讀表現(xiàn)最突出的各年級(jí)同學(xué)頒發(fā)了“閱讀之星”獎(jiǎng),。她展示了優(yōu)秀學(xué)生的閱讀記錄，希望以此來(lái)激勵(lì)更多的學(xué)生多讀多看多聽(tīng)多說(shuō),，全面提高自己的英語(yǔ)水平,。鼓勵(lì)學(xué)生們做具有中國(guó)情懷、國(guó)際視野的復(fù)合型人才,。
這樣采取TED演講的比賽形式,，不僅鍛煉了同學(xué)們的演講能力，也讓同學(xué)們站在一定的高度理解學(xué)習(xí)和生活,，更加確定自己的夢(mèng)想和責(zé)任,，更引發(fā)了聽(tīng)眾對(duì)夢(mèng)想與責(zé)任的思考。比賽賽出了風(fēng)格,，賽出了水平,，更賽出了我校初中國(guó)際項(xiàng)目學(xué)生的魅力和風(fēng)采，它不僅增進(jìn)了國(guó)際班同學(xué)和師生的交流,，還給同學(xué)們提供了鍛煉自我,，展示自我的平臺(tái)。

Feelings and Thoughts after the speech
After giving the presentation of my hometown, I walked down stairs while the audience was clapping their hands and cheering. The feeling of mine seemed to be complex; It was mixed by proud, joy and something impressive.
When I first got the news to give a presentation of my hometown---Sweden, I was absolutely delighted, not only it is because I can show my gorgeous hometown to the other students proudly, but also because I can prove my English presenting skills to the young contestants.
During the two weeks' practice, the attitude that I had about this presentation has changed. At first, I just thought about: "I will definitely get the first prize as I am the most experienced one among the contestants." Although I had given a well-done presentation at the first rehearsal, I saw the hard-work, the confidence, the persistence of the grade 7/ grade8 students' in their eyes. Their spirits did touch me. I regretted having a not-so-serious attitude to my competitors and teachers. At that time, I felt really nervous and depressed. But Mr. Page and Cora cheered me up. They helped me practice with my presentation and taught me plenty of presenting skills. I felt grateful to their effort and determined that I would never let them down.
Since then, I began to trust myself and got well prepared. At the day of 19, December. I've made it successfully. My speech's topic is to cherish the time that we spend with our families and friends, the efforts I made these days helped me achieve the first prize. And this proud moment will definitely excite my friends and family.
Another thing that touched me was the spirit from my competitors, and so my school mates. Although they are younger than I am, or they are not as experienced as I am, they showed a spirit of being brave and never giving up. It seemed that they were saying:' I promised I will capture the winner prize one day!' I taught them a lot of skills and gave them a warm greeting. They reminded me of the time when I was their age, when it was the first time giving a presentation and trying my best to catch the champion. I closed my eyes. Pieces of memories came up to my mind, that these memories containing these three years' monthly presentations. These valuable experiences made the better Julia today.
I saw a girl, that is Julia. Standing in front of my grade 7 school mates at that time, wearing uniform, giving a speech about China. Then, three years passed at the amazing speed, the young Julia has turned to be stronger and calmer, giving a presentation about her hometown--Sweden proudly.
There are really a lot I had learnt from these three years, and the valuable things I had learnt must play important roles for me in my future life.
Thanks for all these years, and I am ready for the challenges that may come to me in the future!
